One word!

I am working on a project and wondering if any of you would care to participate....

Please leave a comment with the one word or one emotion you think of when you think of cancer and/or the cancer journey. Ex: fear, love, courage, anger, frustration, peace. (If you would like to explain why you chose that word, please feel free, but otherwise just post a word or words...that would be awesome and greatly appreciated!)

Thanks for your help!!

Cataclysm.
That definitely sums it up because I felt my whole world had fallen apart, devastated, and I was scared out of my wits (still am truth be told).

Terror. I have to go back for another scan of my lung in July. The last one showed the something had gotten bigger, but the doc thinks it could have been the way they sliced the pic. So I'm trying to stay upbeat right now.

I love you. :-)

Oh Kim, one word is so hard! Well, this one works for me I guess: tenacious. It describes both the cancer, and the one who is fighting it.

Kim, I think my word is transforming because cancer changes everything.

Unbroken
No matter what havoc cancer and its aftermath wreaks on my life, I will survive it and figure out a way to come out stronger because of it.

What a fantastic idea Kim. I am looking forward to reading the results of this. There are so many words to describe cancer and it can also depend on where you are on the journey too - the words can change along with your emotions. I decided not to over think this one and to go with the first word that came into my mind this morning.."transformative".
