Just checking in!

Hi everyone!  Wow, it has been two weeks since I lasted updated...Unfortunately Mr Fatigue has me looking like this:

The reality of working full time, daily physical therapy and normal life has left me with little energy....BUT....I am doing really good considering what my body has been through these past two years.  The lymphedema is getting under good control and thankfully the only menopausal symptoms that I have been experiencing are a few hot flashes and random headaches.
I am hoping to be able to update my blog more regularly, but if I am absent, please extend me grace.  Two years ago this week, I found the lump that forever changed my life....and as any cancer survivor knows...when the day of your cancerversary approaches, along comes many emotions and ponderings....

Thanking God for His ever presence on this journey!

Some pondering thoughts from the movie the Bucket List~
1)  Are you living your life with joy?
2)  Does your life bring joy to others?

I am thinking of you on your anniversary. I know it is a very emotional time for my mom too.

I love those thoughts, living with joy every day.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Kim!

Undoubtedly this will be an emotional week for you, so give yourself a break and complete the tasks that are most necessary or bring you the greatest joy.

Kim I sure do understand! You know my being replaced by a younger woman (at work :) has been a blessing in disguise. It has forced me to just chill and heal which is something I wasn't doing. However it is time for me to get my tush in action:) You are correct that your body has been through much and you need to be patient with your self! For everything there is a time a season and a purpose under heaven. Happy anniversary you've come a long way baby! Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family! Hugs sister!

Hi Kim! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I do try to bring joy into my world and share it with those in my life. I'm sure I fail in doing that perfectly each day, but I do try. Thanks for being such a delightful slice of joy to me, Kim. You've been such a sweetheart in this past year and I'm so glad I had the chance to meet you in SD. That was a treat and I hope it can happen again in the coming year. :) Hang in there -- prayers continuing!
