Just touching base

Well, it has been a bit since I updated my blog.  The last few weeks I hit a bit of a pothole on my road to recovery.  My body can't decide if it wants to waltz (menopause) or hip hop.  Chemotherapy sends many women my age into menopause.  My labs show this is what has happened, my body is doing something else and it has left me with an increase in fatigue, weakness, and the "yucks".  So, I have been resting (and reading all of your blog entries).  As long as I pace myself, the symptoms have lessened, it's just the pacing that is hard for me to balance.  Also, during this rest phase, I have been able to hear the "whisper" of the Lord and can't wait to share my journey with you all.  (I am humbled to admit I have learned some things about myself that are a stronghold in my life..,)

Hope you all are doing great!

Kim,
I feel sad that you have so much going on. You are a very courageous woman and I am glad you are listening to your body and resting. Thank you for visiting my blog. Keep writing! Know that you are not alone in your struggling, we are all on this journey in some form. Blessings.

Kim, So good that you can rest and that you know what your body needs. You are an inspiration right where you are.

Kim, I missed this one before, but just know that I'm proud of you, too, for listening to your body, and I'm looking forward to whatever it is you'll be sharing with us soon. BTW, I hope you got the book I sent -- the one you won. Let me know if not!
