It is in May also and I have surgery in April, so who knows if I'll actually be able to even walk it, but it's a goal. I agree with you, goals are good. Last year I walked it days before my bilateral, so this is a mental goal as well. Good luck training, maybe you'll motivate me too!! I think I'll need it.nancyspointhttp://www.nancyspoint.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-241911657406834589.post-82762391358259002362011-03-08T19:37:32.761-06:002011-03-08T19:37:32.761-06:00Kim, Thanks for joining in at my blog. I am a nurse (now I stay home, but I keep up my license) and my husband is an oncologist. Small world.

Praying for you as you continue your journey. Are you going to She Speaks this year? I went last year and am planning to go this year. Anyway, blessings to you!Angela Mackeyhttp://www.rethinkingmythinking.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-241911657406834589.post-67538230922296711802011-03-08T11:37:37.380-06:002011-03-08T11:37:37.380-06:00Kim, I am currently training to run a 5k at midnig...Kim, I am currently training to run a 5k at midnight on April Fools. I am using the Couch to 5k program also. It really is great and makes the process a lot easier. If you have a smartphone like a droid there is also a c25k app in case you run outside and don't want to be tied to the clock. It dings everytime you are supposed to change from running to walking and vice versa. I just have the free version and it works well for me. There are also c25k podcasts out there.

When I started I had trouble with week 1, and now I'm going 20 minutes straight. It's amazing to watch your own progress. Good luck and I know that you'll do amazing!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530692769675655462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-241911657406834589.post-20006235881505758802011-03-08T09:25:15.983-06:002011-03-08T09:25:15.983-06:00Go.
